The second book in the King's Feast Series: Queen Elizabeth I defies Mary Queen of Scots breaking their 1567 accord. The English Queen calls a successful businessman from 2018 to the King's Feast to help her continue persecution of English Catholics. But war with Spain and the kidnapping of Queen Mary's son, Prince James, confounds Elizabeth. Another Queen more ancient than Elizabeth lies buried in Westminster Abbey. She too seeks Resolution in the afterlife offering to help Queen Elizabeth.
In Scotland, Sir Francis Ramsay's attempts to find Prince James are complicated by concern for another more dear to him than the heir to the Scottish throne.
Once again 16th-century royals attend the King's Feast seeking Resolution. They call spirits from the past and mortals from the future to help them move beyond death to eternity.
